Someone much smarter than me once said 'Those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it'.

As a science fiction fan, I wish we could be like the TV show Star Trek, where there is no money and everybody works for the betterment of mankind. I know it will probably never happen, but I can wish.

With the tension in this country, I would not be surprised if it takes another civil war to right things. Unfortunately there's no guarantee that would work either.

Bruce, I looked it up and this is what I found.“Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.” most likely writer and philosopher George Santayana who originally wrote, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

I’m not a favorite of science fiction, but I am with God and he IS the betterment of mankind, especially since he made man.
