What in the world. They say it’s the lack of oxygen. Just wondering if someone had been there could they harvest them and eat them. I saw on the news also that the Florida coral reefs are in danger as well. One scientist said that it has a lot to do with climate change. I am sure that all the trash and junk we humans throw or leave out has something to do with it as well.

Man, I've seen fishkills before but never one as collosal as in these pix. Really sickening.

Up in the panhandle of Texas, my brother had a catfish pond and this happened due to low oxygen.
He got the windmill going and aerated the water to prevent losing more.
But it is devastating when it happens.

It hit Port Aransas, like 10 - 12 years ago and it went from a honey hole one year, to a nothing burger the next year. That's why we quit going down there. The Gulf side of FL. is the worst.

You can get the Texas "outdoor annual" app for your phone. It is updated regularly so it is correct. It is very handy as you can check on any hunting or fishing regulation wherever you get phone service. I use it a lot

Thank you. The south Laguna Madre has been on probation these last few years with only 3 trout from 17-23" now it's bumped up to 5 from 15-23" with one oversized. I think that's what I read. I'll get the Texas "outdoor annual". thnks again.
