Greetings BassOMatic: Great job on catching those nice-sized trout! I was wondering what bridge on the West (or East Walker River you fished from? What kind of rig and/or bait/fly did you use? I plan to go up there in early September.

Great catch(es) BassOmatic! You mentioned West Carson River, West Walker and East Walker Rivers but where did you fish at? What rig did you use, bait/fly? I love that area and plan to go there again in September.

It appears that the old bridge is on the east river. Maybe I’m mistaken but I thought this great day’s fishing was on the west. Looks like the west river runs about 35 mile…. That’s a nice stretch!

Everything worked from Panther Martins (gold, silver) to Roostertails to stuff I never throw lol they’d slow so we’d toss a worm on a barbless hook light weight 16” gap. The location is on the West Carson 👍

Just shows when they are biting they will bite almost anything.
