Wow 😮 that’s awesome. I saw a herd of bucks in NJ when I moved into my apartment 4 years ago in the summer. Found one dead alongside the highway a few months later. The antlers were missing the next day. Then the carcass remained there for more than a year. Saw two big bucks together this past Christmas evening.

Those are wooded Blue Bird Houses. The other thing you see is my weather station

Not at all. When it's not mating season it's common for bucks to form groups like that. Elk do the same.
Bachelor herds.
YUP
The guys run together until they want to go to the local GRANGE HALL slow dance…
Fawns and yearlings usually will be with Mama if she didn’t get poached or hit by a car.
Males and females usually are not in herds unless it’s a HUGE herd then will see all sizes of Buck and Doe.
Them boys will fight over the ladies at the SLOW DANCE but the Does will only be in the FOR SURE tonight mood for 24 hours roughly and may go into estrus a few times per rut season.
That’s why Bucks like to have a group of does because 24 hours for her is never enough for the WEEKs he is in the mood.

Makes me hungry. One of my all time favorite foods and sport. Fresh Venison Backstrap on BBQ with Salt and Pepper served Medium Rare… medium is ok but well done Venison and Elk and other FRESH red meat just doesn’t taste as good. Chili. Lasagna. Tacos. In any meal that uses Steak or burger… but add meat late or avoid overcooking it is best. Dried out or cooking the last of fat out of lean meat is a no no in the Kitchen.
Thanks for the pictures

Better shoot the weaponry to practice muscle memory and verify crosshairs are where they belong.

It's called a bachelor (spelling? group, the only time they hang with each other.
Ranger, nice bucks large racks must not be in Florida as our bucks antlers don't even get that close to that size. But they all taste great on the grill or smoker:-) Thanks for the pictures.
