Most any crankbait will catch a fish at any given time. The bait covers a lot of water and odds are your gonna have results. Point is you’ll never outguess em. Buy what you want,they’ll eat what they want.

To find lots that will have good baits in them is eBay. I bought a box of 50 storm thundersticks and thundersticks jr's and payed 47 dollars for them. The bonus was they where all mega flash colors and all deep diving. I also bought a 3700 Plano box full of square bill crankbaits for 20 bucks and I mean the box was full with 2 and 3 baits per space. It had all the dividers in it. Must have been 25 or more baits in it. So if you go to eBay and take all those suggestions for brands and you can find some very good deals there. You can also buy tackle boxes that are for sale and take the crankbaits out of them and re-sell what is left. That will save you on costs and you can fill your tackle box pretty quick with good baits at a fraction of the cost of new. I would recommend changing all the treble hooks on any used bait you buy. I like Mustad hooks. They come sharp right out of the box.
