Hi all! Can anyone recommend a good crankbait lot? I’m looking to add to my tackle box and was hoping there would be some good lots out there as opposed to buying them one off. Lots of options online but hard to tell what’s good quality. Thanks!

You get what you pay for with the kits. For the value it's far better just buying 10 individual ones from a reputable brands. 6th Sense, Lucky Craft, some Strike King, etc.

I'll continue... shimano, kvd, rapala

It's always a dilemma for me. Do I spend a little more for durability and qc then potentially lose them to a toothy critter or do I go a little cheaper so it doesn't hurt as much?

I buy everything H2O from academy when it comes to hard plastics. Never let me down and always run straight out of the box. Caught some good bass on them.

Thanks. Maybe a better question: If you were going to start from scratch, what would be your starter set?

I've always just bought them separately because any that I find in a set seems to be horribly made. And rapala is the stuff.

Academy H2O brand. They've never let me down and cheaper than the name guys.

The H2O brand hard baits are legit, especially considering the price.

Honestly, the only thing of theirs I've tried and didn't like was the Mono and worm hooks. The tip of the hook would bend after 3 fish and the mono is brittle. I really like their braid. It's great for the water color in my area and it's tough

Their hooks are garbage, but the only cranks I don't change hooks out on are 6th Sense.

StrikeKing Crankbaits would be a good starting point and then branch out to some other brands...
StrikeKing would be my suggestion.
