As you walk up the stairs or ramp there is as stated a small shop where you pay to enter the pier. Very nominal fee. We were there last week..five adults, five dollars total. I asked about fishing and there is a fee however don't remember cost. Didn't seem like much as I recall. Not as crowded this time of year and just a great place to go. Plenty of parking. The day we were there someone caught two rays and Spanish mackerel.
