The majority today have absolutely no work ethic. They just expect it.. they're entitled...
If more got off their a$$ and work for what they wanted, there would be less obesity due to exercise, more respect since they put their labor forth, and less screen time making sharper minds..

Making pot a legal recreational drug here in NJ has certainly NOT made things better. Just driving around now, skunks everywhere, and DRIVING. Your house is yours to do what you wish, on the road in a car is not.
My two cents, not three fingers.

Just waiting for all the results that will come out in time from recreational drug use in vehicle accidents.

" accidents "

Is driving under the influence really an accident no matter if it is from drugs or alcohol?

To me it should be a different terminology. Maybe STUPIDITY would fit better.

I know i will be accused of being inappropriate and offensive. But the problem with today’s kids is politics and religion! Both have drawn lines, you are either with us or against us. Society has gotten a generation that without flaw reflects society itself.

Meant to be only constructive and I guess nothing more than my opinion. No offense intended.
As a long-time cannabis activist and former industry professional, I offer you that retail access over the recent years has added zero new consumers. It's just not true. I understand NJ has a 21-year old requirement to purchase and possess cannabis products. If you think 13-20 year olds haven't been consuming for decades; I suggest you may be incorrect.

Tight lines all.

Well Whitey I would agree with you if it weren’t FACT that businesses has NO respect for workers! Just tell me why you would put the extra effort when next quarter you might be unemployed because the company stock price fell and management believes cutting staff is the right thing to do to reduce expenses? There is no loyalty returned only be thankful we let you work here.

Civil discourse and the idea to agree to disagree died a couple generations ago. I don't think it'll ever return.

Gotta disagree Ugly Fish.
Now retired, I always "put the extra effort" because it met MY standard. I offer if you are working to someone else's standard, you might have it backwards. I never needed any assistance/support or loyalty to maintain my pride when I drove home.

As always, tight lines all.

Was raised to do the job the best I could and if a job is worth doing it is worth doing right.

I think it all depends on the company. I worked for both big and small outfits and respect went both ways.

Now if a company is miss managing the business, I can understand your way of thinking Ugly Fish.

Kerry,
Your reference to "was raised to do..." made me see I missed saying something in my original comment. I turned into my parents from which I was so fortunate to have some of the best. I likely got all or most of my work ethic from mom and dad. May it long live; seems to be slipping away.
