Went fishing in Manasquan Inlet this afternoon on the low tide. Caught, tagged and released 6 bluefish including two doubles from 17” to 19” on a plain hook Ava A-17 and two teasers. A bluefish bit off, then swam away with a pink synthetic buck tail teaser. Caught 20 fish in 10 trips to the inlet this year. Tagged 15 fish. None were recaptured yet. Went fishing in 73 degree Robert G Martin Lake this evening for an hour. Threw out a can of corn for chum, then caught and released a bluegill and 5 brown bullheads with 3 different baits on 3 fishing rods. Made 4 fishing 🎣 trips in the past two days.

Thanks for the photos and stories. Or as you would say, nice! I still have more than 100 cans of corn 🌽 left. Aldi is selling them for 50 cents per can.

This is the first year that I saw a lot of crows at Veteran’s Park. Maybe they roost there.
