I worked in the North Tower (#1 WTC) since 1977 and, by the Grace of God, escaped & survived both February 23, 1993, and September 11, 2001.
9/11 was an attack on our freedom, religion & lifestyle by murdering cowards in an attempt to justify their twisted islamic fundamentalist terroristic beliefs.
If that sounds like a harsh assessment - tough. I'm trying to find it in my heart to forgive, but I lost too many close friends on 9/11 and it is difficult & a work in progress some 20+ years later...
God Bless the beautiful souls we lost to the evil in the world.
