Hated to give up on venison Heart or Venison Liver sliced real thin, dipped in flour then fried with a bunch of onions. Remember what they used to serve at school cafeteria in the 50's, thick cut Beef liver real mealy, no onions, wouldn't eat it.

Yeah, I can recall having it too, as a kid. Beef heart too. Can you even find that anymore. I’m sure some animal activists got it taken off the shelves…

🐟onThe Asian supermarkets, Korean and Chinese, carry them, along with other cuts you'd never find in an American one. At least here in metro DC. Whenever I need to pick up meats or seafood, that's where I go--higher turnover so it's fresher, and tends to also be less expensive.
