Never have tried Fly Fishing maybe one day, but king salmon would be crazy wonder if they fight as much as trout but in a bigger size if that makes sense

Welcome to the Forum, MrSummers. Your question makes a great deal of sense and trust me the salmon does fight as much as a trout. I caught 66 salmon on a 4 day trip with my 8# fly rod. I was completely exhausted. I didn't even want to catch another one. They were all C&R if you were wondering.
I was present for the running of the blues off the mouth of the pawtuxent river in Chesapeake Bay back in the early 70's. I wouldn't get in that water, you might get eaten. You throw it out there, they will bite it.

Still looking for that elusive California yellowtail. Caught everything else out here.
I don't try for marlin, tunas, or large sharks.

You had better not take a pee in it.

I have caught a lot of sharks, hated every one of them. Usually cut my line.

Mako and Thresher sharks are good eating.
Sometimes seafood restaurants will have them on the menu.
I've never caught either one of them, but the Makos sharks will leap out of the water like the Marlins do.
We have both of these sharks here at times.
Blue sharks are most common here, not good to eat. Hammer heads and Great Whites show up from time to time.
I have never eaten Mako shark, nor have I caught either of those. But I will attest that Thresher shark is very tasty, nice firm meat, holds up well to grilling.
To catch a 12 pound Smallmouth Bass on 10 pound fluorocarbon line from one of the “Great Lakes”...
Big bucket, short list, Alaska halibut.
Big tarpon. Halibut. Blue fin. Marlin. Wahoo.
Can't believe I had to change big tampon to tarpon. Dyac!
I would like a red fish, black drum, and small tarpon while on my 8 foot pelican kayak. I know the black drum would tow me around for a while. I built pontoons to stay stable.
I want a flathead or blue catfish over 50 lbs on a rod and reel...
I have been very fortunate and caught most of my bucket list. I would like to land two that I have not that would be a peacock bass and a permit. The old man.
