Never have tried Fly Fishing maybe one day, but king salmon would be crazy wonder if they fight as much as trout but in a bigger size if that makes sense

I've got #4 and #5 on your list. Working on #2 on Sunday. Looks like a mighty fine fishing bucket list my friend, good luck.

Peacock bass would be great I'm debating on taking my kayak and fishing gear down in March and just fishing some on the channels for one from everything I have read it sounds like it's a good time then, are you going US or Amazon ?

I meant #2 as in redfish. Although I would love the chance for a peacock

1) Tarpon 2) Peacock Bass 3) Roosterfish 4) Salmon 5) double digit LM bass

On one hand I’d love to experience the thrill of fighting a billfish but I likely won’t ever target them.

See that is how I feel, just way to out of my budget for most of the saltwater fish otherwise my list might be a little bigger

Personally I think the number one I want to go after it's a large sturgeon just to be able to see something that old and big and have hands on it

If I had the money, but it will probably always be out of reach for me, 3-5k for a fish be it once in a lifetime is still alot

That'd be a long list. Barramundi, nile perch, payara, giant trevally to name just a few.

Taimen. If you don't know what that is, google it. That's it. I could die happy. ( I was made aware of this fish on an episode of River Monsters. )

I don't care as long as it's over 20 LB. LOL I would like to hit one more school of fish in Salt Water before the Dirt nap. Hum, make that hit the running of the Blues off Hatteras. They say you can hear them in the Surf as they go by, Chomp, Chomp, Chomp. Talked with one guy that made it years ago and when he got to town they told him the Blues were running.
He drove out to the shore and saw a Jeep coming towards him with driftwood in the back of it. "Well, I must have missed it." When the jeep got closer hr saw the "Driftwood" was all Blues.
He said he saw the town banker in the surf with a 3 peice suit with the pants rolled up casting and pulling Blues.
