How about shark noodleing? That would take a brass pair.

Oops I stuttered ill get the hang this soon.😜
In southern freshwater, for me, its !!!!!!!!flatheads!!!!!!
The Yellowstone River or Missouri River in Montana for BIG paddlefish.. pretty cool to catch a prehistoric giant.
[quote=FS Digest]My friend and I were debating the other day what the “ manliest” fish to go for was, and I wanted to hear your guys opinions! Separate by salt and fresh or combine dosent matter!

its the mighty musky!
Now noodling is a manly thing. But bass fishing is what I like
For salt, shark/marlin/tarpon ! I also would consider dolphinfish (mahi-mahi) and giant grouper ! For fresh, muskie/pike/alligator gar/giant catfish (over 100 lbs.) ! It usually takes man-sized strength and endurance to boat or land
most of these species, not to mention man-sized gear to handle them ! They're not for the faint-of-heart !
