Thank you Jeremy I hope to catch some trout and salmon in lake sebago among other lakes. I have caught many saltwater trout here in Tampa Bay Florida but haven't been fishing freshwater for 25 years a bit rusty. I come from a long family line of fisherman and woman we all love it. Good luck to you as well this year

Don't pass up the small mouth, or largemouth for that matter. Maine has some good fishing for both, as well as pickerel and white bass. Enjoy

Oh yes I remember as a young girl fishing with my dad catching pickerel and bass in Forest lake. My uncle owned a camp on Thomas lake and we caught eels and huge bass there. I can't wait to get there at the beginning of May to start my adventure. My fishing partner will also be excited as he has never been to Maine.

That is for sure a Cobia. It just looks a little small. New size limit is 38".
Caught one in Feb. 45" and yes they are one of the best tasting fish.
I rate it in my top 4. Fish On.

I'm leaving Florida end of April to head to Durham maine where I will stay the summer until October which I will head back down to Pinellas county FL. The heat of FL after 22 years just finally got to me.

I don’t blame you. I’m a snow bird. It’s too nice here in Michigan in the summer. Summer is hot.

I am a retired nurse that is coming to spend first of many six months times, spring to winter, in Durham maine. Would enjoy someone to fish with. I have fished for trout, bass in west Virginia growing up and last 22 years saltwater fishing here in FL. I no longer have a boat and don't care if you have a boat or not just someone to sit with and give each other tips of catching fish.

Hey πŸ‘‹ I’m in Trenton Florida for about months in new here but love fishing 🎣 from North Carolina and love trout fishing in the mountains and bass fishing never did much of fishing in salt waters

Actually I'm in Maine now for five and half months will be clamping in Freeport. I purchased a 16' V bottom boat with 6hp mercury four stroke with trolling motor and fish finder so hopefully I will be able to get some spring trout or and salmon.

I have a good friend who is a snowbird and he would move to Florida full time but he wife doesn't like the heat, well I tell him to tell her he'll miss her this summer and let her go back.πŸ˜‚ I think that snowbirds should have to spend one full year her before you can come and leave when it gets hot just to make sure you can handle it if for some reason you couldn't get back home one summer πŸŒžπŸŒžπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.. I was born here and it seems to get hotter ever year, or I may be getting older maybe.

Let me say that I lived in FL the last 22 years and the heat and humidity has tripled in my opinion. I live in Pinellas Park FL in Tampa area. I had to leave and come to Maine for the summer. A lot of my family live up here so it is great and it is where I was born in Portland Maine so I love it. I would love back to Maine full time but I have my mother to care for and she isn't to fond of the idea of snow and cold weather. Lol I just want to go ice fishing.🀣. The heat in FL is terrible. I'm retired now after 30 years of nursing so I just want to fish and relax.

I'm with you all the way on that , l have some medical problems that I shouldn't have at the age of 65 years old in 9 days but I look on the bright side of things I can still do must everything I need to just takes a little longer. The heat is my problem can't stay out in it all day like I use to... I have lots of friends that comes down for the winter and always hate to see them leave... And let me thank you for the service you provide all those years I know first hand what a job it is as a nurse... I have been a electrician all my life but since 2010 I'v had lots of medical stuff so I appreciate good nurses. Thanks Chuck

About an hour away. Perhaps we can get together and trade fishing experiences.
What do you say?
