A good mornin' to you all! I'm still waiting for some ideas on how to tell where people are from.
Good morning Fly, I’m from Wentzville, MO. It’s about 50 miles west of St Louis. And good morning to all as you join in. It’s going to be a great day here in the Midwest for a Dec day, clear and mid 50’s.
Good morning to all hope everyone has a good day.
Good morning Fly. I believe you hit the nail perfectly in your suggestion for folks to update their user ID on the forum. I have made my own spread sheet from what I pick up on the tiles from the threads. And just ask either by Pm or here in the open.
The regulars like you and I are easy to follow its the once and awhile folks that info is not as helpful.
Somebody had to do it Good Mornin
fg and the rest.

I listed San Diego county.
We live in the unincorporated area of north San Diego country. Closest city is Escondido so that is what are address is. We're few miles from the San Diego Safari Park which is a pretty fun place to go. We have 3 lakes close by, I don't really freshwater fish except for rainbows at times. Saltwater is my thing.
Good late morning! I can see the locations where people are from on their posts, but that has to be because they have updated their profile. Maybe you can add a category that needs to be filled out when they register for the forum?
But I live in Bastrop, TX. We are situated about 25 miles east of Austin, so it seems easier to put 'near Austin TX' for my location because people usually have a clue where Bastrop is.
Look at the top of the post. It shows your post name and location. Like your from S. E Minnesota

It would be nice if more would use the feature, some post and then have to be ask where they are wanting info for..
A cheat sheet sorta speak would be worth its weight.
A map of the world and people could pin the spot.
It would help with some finding some closer.
And we could get a grasp on how far away some are.
