Roger... The 1st photo is a common carp. Not native to North America, European visitor that has been here for many years, and has adapted well. That eel thang ? We'll have to wait for someone else.

Thanks nutz4fish- I thought it was but it looks different to the common carp I used to catch in the UK- the dorsal fin is much longer- I will try to find a pic
