It’s been brutal. I got antsy and went to skinner and some ponds and got my ass kicked by rain, chocolate milk water and rough fishing. That being said, this will be good for the long run!

Hahaha, I was sitting in mine. Glass of Jamieson. And my dog looking at me like I was crazy.

My dentist, who is a big fan of good liquor (and obviously can afford it), is a very, very big fan of an Irish Whiskey called Red Breast. He swears it is equal or better than the really fine single malt scotches, and thinks it is about $30 or so here in the Los Angeles area.

Tight lines and good liquor.

In the long run (rest of the year) I believe the fishing will be great! We've got water running in our irrigation canals right now, putting rain water in so many holding ponds/small lakes that use to be dry the last 3 years, 🙏👍

Good to hear Jar! We were at pine flat a while back and it was a reclaimed cow pasture!

I know we need the water, but I'm going thru withdrawals. I don't even know if I'll remember how to use my trolling motor. Lol. Can't wait to get back on the water...Rant done...Tight lines everyone!🚤🐟🎣

Could be a lot worse….10000 years back Cali was covered in water year round!

And the really good part about this is that if you drink enough of it before you see the dentist you will not need a shot of anaesthetic. Or if you usually forego the anaethetic shot and instead choose laughing gas/nitrous oxide (which gives you a buzz as if you had been really drinking heavily), you can buy 3 bottles or so of the Red Breast for what the dentist will charge you for the laughing gas. It ain't a fortune but $90 saved will buy you some nice lures.

Tight lines and lots of fun.

Hey jimi ! Yeah, Pine Flat Dam is holding at about 46% capacity right now , and they are releasing alot of water into the Kings River which is flowing pretty full all the way out to Lemoore and Stratford, Kettlemen City ! Here where I live, Kaweah Lake is almost full right now brown muddy stained water but we'll take it 👍You have a great evening jimi 👍

Yes but that is because Fred Flintstone was using gas to power his car instead of his feet. Who knew
