Well guys, Sue and I've will have been married 48 years tomorrow. Sure doesn't seem that long. On the other hand we've been through so much together that I don't see how we managed to cram ALL that stuff into that little bit of time.
Hopefully we'll live through all these moves we're tryin to get done and then settle back down to a more relaxed life again by the end of 2024.
I know there are a lot of us on here that have been married as long as we've been and some even longer.
However, it seems that that way of life isn't around as much anymore. Such a shame.
Y'all take care and stay safe and dry.

WOW Billy, that's wonderful. That's so admirable. Wish more people would have that kind of commitment. Congrats to you and your wife. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Congratulations to you and Sue! And all the other long-timers!

I'm going to use this opportunity to pay respects to my Lynda. We were married 53 1/2 years when she passed away 5 1/2 years ago. Sometimes, like now, I just have to stop and cry a bit. Love you Babe!

Sorry for your loss GJ40. Sounds like you had many happy years together.
Loss gets easier with the passage of time but it still hurts.

Congrats guys. It does take work to stay together for that long. Jean and I will be married 59 years in June and we dated thru high school and junior college. She's been training me for nearly 65 years. I'm a work in progress so to speak. She must be a saint as my man cave is full of fish photos, deer and elk antlers and other assorted man stuff. It does take God and prayer to live together that long and I don't even like to think of life alone for either one of us but I know it is coming. Prayers for all of you that have already crossed that bridge. Appreciate all on the stage. Y'all good folks!

Wow SOC. That's an amazing feat. Bein together for 65 years is really something.
You both are in my prayers daily. Please reach out with a PM if you ever feel you need to. Steve.
