Sure does Flytier, only getting better till New Year’s. Gonna try for some walleyes tomorrow up on the open water in Beltzville dam, supposed to be near 50*!

Hope the temps come through. I'm getting on a boat to run 60 miles out

Why the hatred Leo? Inquiring minds want to know.

Well, to begin with, they are slimy, they stink, they will stink your boat up, you can't eat them, because of all of the bones, they will cut your $7.00 lure off in a blink of an eye, need I say more? I won't cut the line with a crankbait on, but if it is just a hook, zippo! They are not for me. They do give you a good tug. It's the way it is.

I respect that perspective Leo, especially their teeth in cutting off expensive baits. Mystery solved but you’ve gotta admit, they are quite fine on the end of a line.

Real nice BK! In some ways I miss ice fishing, in other ways I don’t!

Thanks 40, it was quite a pleasant day on the ice. No deep snow to get on the ice, nice temps. with little wind, even I could handle it.

The kid, myself and my nephew hit first ice on a local lake today. About 4” of solid clear hard water. Did pretty well with some good panfish and of course, I’d be remiss if I didn’t include the obligatory pic of a snot rocket for fly’s viewing pleasure.

Wow you guys had a great day I didn't get out on hard water yet still fishing little Open Water areas where I can

I didn't hit the hard water yet but I've been fishing and the lakes by my house aren't Frozen so I caught some small mouth and the fall fish
