I don’t think he ever posted, unfortunately. He had many incredible stories to tell of his trips fishing in Canada and on Lake Michigan that I wish he had shared with you all. My favorite included a run-in with a bear, a log cabin bar, a Packers game that went south…and maybe 1 too many rum & cokes. Ha!
He just turned 75, and I am about to turn 32 in 2 weeks. It is particularly tough when it’s a parent.
I think one of you may have posted this, I just found it again saved in his pictures. He wanted this included in his obituary:

Very touching indeed.
Here's another one, poem, I really like also.
Gone Fishin
I've finished life's chores assigned to me
So put me on a boat headed out to sea.
Please send along my fishin pole
for I've been invited to the fishin hole.
Where every day is a day to fish,
to fill your heart with every wish.
Don't worry, or feel sad for me,
I'm fishin with the Master of the sea.
We will miss each other for awhile,
But you will come and bring your smile.
That won't be long you will see,
Till we're together you and me.
To all those that think of me,
Be happy as I go out to sea.
If others wonder why I'm missin
Just tell em I've gone fishin.
I don't know who wrote this, but I really like it.
That's how I want people to think of my after I'm gone... Saw1.
