I was watching tv a loooonnnnng time ago and some celebrity on Carson was talking about cooking fish in his dishwasher. Canโ€™t remember who.

I read about cooking a salmon in a dishwasher many years ago but never tried it myself but from what I understand you cut the fellets in more or less serving sizes place on aluminum foil put on spices you want fold foil and seal edges to make water proof. put on top rack, run on regular wash cycle not energy saving and no soap! when done take out unwrap and there you have it poached salmon that hopefully you caught legally and not poached

Does anyone else boil bluegill fillets. We call it poor boys crab ๐Ÿ˜. Probably no healthier way to eat fish. Not counting the dipping it in melted butter. Just wondered if others boiled some of their fish. This came about for me on a day out that turned into a day and a half. Had to eat ๐Ÿ˜. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ on

Yes sir. I boil gills after cleaning them. I cut the fins off, skin them, cut the heads off and gut them, rinse them off. I boil them whole after that. Flake all that good meat off the bones and use a crab cake recipe to cook them.

. I used to walk the waters edge looking for lost lures when I was about 11 years old. I caught some gills and found old stainless pan started a fire put the strips of fish a couple crawfish I and some cranberries I found. Was a very good meal.

It requires butter because you boiled all the flavor out of it. Steaming fish. Does it remove all the flavors.
