I lost a good eye right at the boat as well, not as big as Blaine’s but a good 5 lbs. I also kept a 13.5 “perch, a twelve “crappie and a 9” gill, all on crawler harnesses. Temperature topped out at a pleasant 80 degrees. Simply the most beautiful day of summer. The lake is 500 acres and electric only, no motorized boats or jet skis to break the silence or screw up the fishing .
