Hopefully, I'll get a chance to visit my buddy in San Antonio before either one of us 'kicks off'; he's been going through 'chemo' for the six months and has recently started on insulin as well ! He 's not a trout aficionado, but fishes the Guadalupe around the New Braunfel area for bass and 'cats' !
As for myself, it's one thing I miss about N.H.; my spring troutin' ! There're trout here, but it's not the same; most of the troutin' I've done here is lakes and ponds ! I really miss certain streams I used to hit from late-April to mid-June, where I've had my best luck and caught the most and biggest fish !
Still a chance for some big'uns here, though;one of the lakes I fish gave up the Az. state record rainbow a few years ago ! It was 15.6 lbs./32.5 inches, so there's still a chance to catch some decent fish in the not-too-distant future ! Another lake I'm looking forward to trying not only has decent trout, but also yielded the Az. state record pike ! Who knows? Maybe I'll be able to send some decent photos soon !

I am ? WOW ! That's news to me ! And probably to about a dozen people who really know me; left alone, I'm usually a pretty mellow fellow, but with my attitude and temper, you never want to 'poke the bear' ! The results could get pretty 'grizzly' ! (NO pun intended!)
