There is no accounting for taste! Everyone's taste buds are different, so the different fish are going to be ranked differently by individuals. That's why there is a variety to choose from. Just Sayin...RJS

I really like Walleye for freshwater and Halibut or White Seabass for saltwater. The flaky whitefish is great, but not as healthy as the oily Salmon, etc.

Redheads have always looked extra good to me. I married one. Heck, I WAS a redhead until most of it disappeared!

I hope nobody ever starts a thread with "Ginger or Mary Ann?" You remember Gilligan's island, don't you?

Barnacles --- Got to agree Redheads do look good and if they're real redheads they taste good to even if they can't cook for beans

The best fish to eat?

One that you caught yourself, cleaned and either grilled or made up some special batter and threw it into the deep fryer!

My choices, in order are stripers first, as I want them out of the water column, next mahi nahi, halibut, bluegill, crappie, and grouper. I prefer non oily fish! That said, each to their own! Enjoy
