I have allways said thank the maker for everyting. Except for pain. I know its part of life. But the kind of pain out there is just down right cruel. I have gone thru it on my back and right leg and foot. my body is fusing my vert. together all by itself. Thats a hell of show man. and finding a good spine dr that cares is not very likey. I know lots of neg- waves man. just got to keep the faith. hoping they come up with a new way to fix backs. They all want to cut on me no way, if they can scope it that would be different. but no. This all takes a toll on your mind and body. Ricky Sitka.

I understand what you are saying i did have a great dr. who did back surgery on me 30 some years ago when i ould not get off the floor. I was fortunate and it took care of the problem still have some times of pain but i can manage it and still get around. also have 2 fake knees and a hip. someone told me pain as we get older is God's way we are not in heaven yet but getting closer. but pain is just part of the game, i just remind myself just because you are in pain doesnt mean you can be a pain. just try to keep on smiling and trusting God. by the way i am writting this as take a beak from unloading my boat from a camping trip where i fell and endd up hardly able to walk for a couple days leaving me to wonder if my tent camping days are over and a birthday tomorrow to remind me i am not getting old i am old

Man, I used to bounce out of bed, slug my coffee down my hatch, be the first one at the company gate, the last one to leave, run by the lake to go check my lines, haul fish in to clean, take a shower and revive like a mail horse, eat a good meal and spend time with the family, go work in the big vegetable garden watering and picking..take a few minutes reading my Bible then jump into bed to get 4 hours sleep and do it again.

Nowadays I'm just thankful I got up and made it to the coffee pot.

Nowadays the fish will just have to wait for me to get there with their play toys 🎣

Nowadays the only TV I watch is shows older than I am!

Nowadays the only time I run is my supper or someone yells Fire!!! Snake! or the shine is ready, just a sip 🀣

Nowadays I realize I'm no spring chicken anymore, but I'm going down swinging! I still want to play with the fishies, be a productive member of my family and community until they throw dirt in my face and cover up the hole.

Ptui, whoever said we are in the "golden years" is dead wrong; seems to be more like years of rust/corrosion to me. Still, I'll go as far as I can, as fast ( sometimes half-fast) as I can and make it when I can. When I 'kick the bucket" it'll be my last step.
Don't ever quit!!!

You all have a good weekend I'm going fishing with the son in law Tomorrow.

The pain in life Might be the Lords way to direct us to the appreciation of Heaven….or not….I don’t know anything, but sounded ok…..evidently I need my share of direction….stuff sure hurts more now than it used too….

I know i'm are old when young ladies hold the door open for me.

I know i'm old when my grandson askd me if I was on the ark. When I aid no he asks why didn't you drown?
I know i'm old because i remeber when there wasn't dirt....actually I don't remeber anything but someone told me I was older than dirt
I'm thinking it might be good I hurt or I might forget to wake up
