I didn’t know what category to post this under but I’m attaching a couple pictures of something that was swimming near the docks. Its pretty small but it sure swims pretty dang good and it wasn’t afraid of a turtle that was about a foot in diameter. I haven’t a clue what it is but I sure hope someone does!!!

Some type of small / baby water bird ?

To me, it looks like something that would get me fussed at if I was to tell you what it looks like.

#1. Might be little green men from Mars and the had to go 💩?

#2. A snake swallowed a fish and regurgitated non digestive parts?

#3. Game wardens doing alcoholic beverages checks nearby somebody and stuffed in a ice bag and tossed it overboard as current floats it along?

You ever cross a Wendingo looking for love and you look like a lady Wendingdet, you're gonna wish you had never left the lodge, where you and your teddy bear were sleeping this morning!

I noticed there wasn’t hardly any disturbance in the water also. But it was definitely swimming…my husband and I watched it go from the left side of the dock out 30ft from it and then over to the other dock and disappeared on the other side of that dock.
I loved all the answers/guesses — still don’t know what it was but the one suggestion that it was a duck with its head under the water seems most plausible. If it is, then that duck can hold its breath an unusually long amount of time!! Lol
Thank you everyone for trying to help figure out what it is. If it ever shows back up, I’ll try to get better pictures!
Wishing you all the best!! Happy Fishing this next week (supposed to be cooler here.)
