I didn’t know what category to post this under but I’m attaching a couple pictures of something that was swimming near the docks. Its pretty small but it sure swims pretty dang good and it wasn’t afraid of a turtle that was about a foot in diameter. I haven’t a clue what it is but I sure hope someone does!!!

Love the names…hadn’t thought of a UFO as being described that way! One person (not on this forum) said they thought it was a baby duck. 🤷♂️
I wish the water hadn’t been so murky—maybe could have seen what, if anything, was below the surface. It sure seemed rather menacing to me but I can’t begin to imagine why. And the fact that the large turtle that wasn’t far from it seemed to stay back was rather eerie too. We haven’t seen it since but next time it comes back, if it does, I’ll have my rod with me and see if I can elicit some response from it.
Have a good day everyone—watch out for any weird creatures! LOL
Idk if this will work or if it helps but this is a short video I took of it.
Looks maybe a 'shut' that didn't open, so the jumper, discarded this one, and used his secondary.
Duck with his head under water?

Maybe if you could take a clear picture we would know what it is?
I watched the video also. It doesn't appear to be swimming. There's no water disturbance in front of it nor any wake of any kind. So...if you see it again and possibly hook it or net it, pls let us know. Tite lines

It appears to be a bird ( duck type or little seagull ) with head underwater looking for fish etc.
It could be a legend though. Document it as the new Loch Ness Monster that morphed and reappeared where your at. Be careful you may start a new tourist thing. Hopefully a lazy parent didn’t throw a used diaper overboard instead of putting it where it belongs.
