Jerryβs Upholstery in Boring Oregon does great work.
Jeremy, is your crab davit mounted on that rail? Or does it run down into the hull? I am assuming it runs down into the hull. But hard to tell from pic. Nice looking boat!

Yes and yes. Pictures will show the upper mount the lower mount is a plate with a stainless bolt with 4 inches of plastic bushing the bolt holds in place that the steel tubing is on. The bow cover is still on to keep debris out of bow or would share a picture of the lower mount as well.

Very strong setup.

Bust Out Another Thousand. They always need money. Iβm happy with the investment in this 1968. Itβs a really fun boat. Successful on every fishing or crabbing and fishing trip I have had it on so far.
Please give me your gut instinct thoughts please. I will not be offended by anything. I appreciate any and ALL input. I acquired a 1968 Larson Shark or Runabout... Lapline Model 16+ foot Open Bow Outboard Boat. My primary use will be for Fishing. Please give me ideas what any of you would name it if you owned it.
Thank You Fishingstage Family
Fun-day-mental..Passinbye is my boat's name.
We've restored a bunch of older boats, throw a little money and some elbow grease on it and go catch some fish. Fish don't care if it cost a million or five hundred bucks on the water.

Exactly. Itβs good to know the vessel your on as well. I agree. I wouldnβt mind some high end boats but Iβm an average simple man. Mechanical things are second nature so old boats are one of my favorite hobbies.
