Being kind and understanding is almost non-existent. Thinking about others instead of yourself is a rarity. Most people don't know to walk on the right side of a hallway or when you meet someone.

Really? Seriously? I think it's a reasonable assumption that most of us outdoorsman are packing something, me included. I have a CC permit. So let me ask, whatcha gonna do Mr. Smith and Wesson? Fire a salvo across their bow?
Or do the "You've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do you, punk?" Harry Callahan act?
Maybe Mr. Smith's "cousins" should also bring along BMG .50 to the party. Come on!
One thing I find worse than idiot boaters is bravado gun idiots.

I just re-read all 8 pages of this thread (except for FOF's posts) and I never did see any remarks about going in with guns blazing the moment something isn't going your way. That just seems like an assumption made by anti-gun people.

Sometimes the problem can be solved if you were to offer help to somebody who is trying to launch or retrieve a boat at the ramp that you want to use. Maybe you are not the only person in this world with a physical disability. Instead of sitting there just glaring at him, offer to lend him a hand. Things will be a lot better and maybe you will have a great day on the water. GET A BETTER ATTITUDE!
