PM me and we'll talk about me gifting you one if you want a benchmade or a buck. I can get you a deal. Not sure about the sog, but I can look.

Looked. No. No sog knives, only the multitool. I have a leatherman wave that I've been carrying for years. Don't know how I ever got by before I had one of those.

I bought a Kershaw when I flew to AK in 2019, drove back with my brother. I carry it every day. At 69 I have owned a lot of knives. This is by far the best steel I have ever owned… occasionally use a ceramic stick, it still will shave clean.

I’ve owned a Benchmade for 10 years and love it. Lifetime warranty is solid and comes with lifetime resharpening. Pricey but worth it in my opinion.

Well there I times when you need a razor and times when you just need a blade. I don't buy knives to shave with. To each their own.

Speaking of shaving, I am glad I never had to use a straight razor to shave with. Not sure if I could. Anyone out there use one?

Was wondering your ideas on the Benchmade and SOG knifes. Never had a really high US quality knife before but been wanting one for years and I am ready . Leaning toward the Benchmade. Looking for a folder to carry on my belt.

I remember my old hunting knife starting back in early 1950s, a folder. it was a large bone handled Case in a holster. It had two large blades, I suppose 5" long. One was heavy for general cutting and the other was long slender that I used for skinning. That was when most were good American made and good steel. Now days who knows what they are made of and if you get a good American made knife with good steel, you will pay for it!

I have had a Benchmade Osborne for almost 20 years. I have carried and used it everyday since I bought it. It is by far the best knife I have ever owned and still looks nearly new. Only down side is they are very pricey $$$ but still worth every penny.

I do not, but I have. Best left to someone who knows how to use one. Knick knick. Bleed bleed. If it's sharp enough to shave with, it's sharp enough to easily do some damage.
