Was wondering your ideas on the Benchmade and SOG knifes. Never had a really high US quality knife before but been wanting one for years and I am ready . Leaning toward the Benchmade. Looking for a folder to carry on my belt.

They are both pretty good. I have had leatherman and SOG brand folding multi tools. I actually liked Leatherman a little more. Bench made makes good knives.

If this a once in lifetime. There are a lot of custom makers that would create a legacy that you could pass on.

Don't know much about either one except they're both quality knives. I just bought my first Benchmade a few weeks ago and it looks to be extremely well made. Time will tell. I've got a Buck 110 that I've had for years and years and it looks and cuts about the same way it did the day I bought it 40 years ago for about 25 dollars. We'll see if the Bmade can keep up with Buck? I doubt you'll be disappointed no matter which you choose.

PM me and we'll talk about me gifting you one if you want a benchmade or a buck. I can get you a deal. Not sure about the sog, but I can look.

Looked. No. No sog knives, only the multitool. I have a leatherman wave that I've been carrying for years. Don't know how I ever got by before I had one of those.
