Totally understandable. My wife was really against pictures of our kids online for a while. With years she’s relaxed but I always respected and understood her feelings.

What where the little guys stats. Length? Weight? That’s always good baby info.👍🏻 I’m sure he’s the cutest thing in the world. They all are. Congrats again!

He weighed in at 7 pounds 7 ounces and 21" long, told my son I'd caught bigger fish than that.

Of course. At least we have a frame of reference as to his size, lol. Is he your first grandchild?

You have, me not so much!! That’s a nice healthy weight that was probably a lot easier for mama to land then a 10lber.

Got out for a few hours today and the wind did blow, 10 to 15 out of the east blowing across every point I wanted to fish. Caught 4 Smallmouth two little guys fat as pigs and two 17" & 18". Hooked one BIG grass carp and fought it for about 30 minutes, got it up next to the boat twice close enough to touch but it wasn't giving up to a hand landing. Finally took a hard run and I cupped the spool and let it break my 4 pound test, fun but now mu wrist is sore.

Buy the way,,, TOMORROW at 7:15 I'm gonna be a grandpa, a boy named for my Dad, Brooks

Man you are still on fire 🔥
Keep it up.
We had my Dad's funeral last Thursday and now it's time to get the boat out and bass fish.
Have a great week and weekend.
Safe times on the water.

Ivey.... Ya gotta spoil any more that come along later as well. Don't want to play favorites ( at least not openly ).Just thinkin'.
The sending home is a nice feature of GPhood. You've already paid your dues. This part is the gravy.
