Oh man, lucky you're alive.

That one was just an ambulance ride with some broken ribs and headful of glass, this power stroke was an ambulance to a hospital and that hospital putting me on a helicopter an hour away to a trauma hospital where my wife happened to be working….my own doing 4 wheeling near cliffs at night….

When I was in the field doing service repairs I drove a big ford van 🚐 and covered a lot of California during the 6 years of service I managed to hit a few birds 🐦 1 goose 1 Turkey 🦃 1 pigeon and 3 sparrows
The pigeon was the only one who did damage it hit and broke my drivers side mirror

When I was young and going fishing with my father he hit a pheasant and it came right through the windshield that was scary 😦

Tong did you have a bird feeder on your vehicle brother 🤣🤣

My yrs with the county I saw alot of vehicle n deer collisions. Worse one a new Ford pickup heading north a older lady with sister n a friend heading south. Bug 8 pt buck ran in front of truck. Took out the hood the grill drivers side headlight assembly n the fender. Knocked the buck in front of the old gals Cadillac. Took out the hood/windshield/radiator/drivers fender/airbag went off/ rim messed up n drivers door. Only a couple miles from sisters house but the driver lives about 70 miles west. Felt bad for those gals. Lost count of how many dead deer I picked up.

Saw a report yesterday about a young mans unfortunate encounter with a wild turkey. Boy was on interstate 70 westbound going through Washington county MD section. Speed limit 70 next thing he knew he had a turkey in his face. He suffered multiple lacerations to his face n a serious eye injury. He was airlifted to John's Hopkins eye trama center. No report of it turning into a serious pile up. 70 mph is usually the car that everyone is passing on I-70. Whats the biggest thing to hit your windshield 😵. I've been lucky nothing bigger than a small bird

This happened when I was a flight instructor many years ago. Was with a student practicing landings. About 40 yds from touching down a seagull went through the prop and hit the windshield. Blood covered the windshield and we could not see the runway, and feathers came through the air vents and were floating around the cockpit. I told my student to go ahead and land the plane. He said something that I really can't repeat here. So I opened the window on my side so that I could see better and landed the plane. We laughed about it once on the ground, but was a little "Dicey" at the time.

Can you say adrenaline rush 🤣🤣. That's crazy. I've been passenger in two trucks that hit birds one hit a turkey the other hit a mallard. Both only lost a grill. I hit a buzzard one time. Driving slow with my pup. Buzzard was feeding in a cracess in tall grass. One hit my bumper n grill. Nothing broken but darn bird puked all over my grill n radiator. talk about stink
Chunks of meat stuck everywhere 🤢🤢

Alaska, Driving from Fairbanks back to Anchorage about 11pm, 70mph. Saw a moose 🦌 out of my right eye, and cut the wheel just in time to have her take out the mirror, partial window and passenger door "gingerbread". Upon stopping, she had loped off but knew I had to report it: drove 30 miles to nearest phone booth and called state police.
First thing they asked was how many civilians killed upon impact 😱! Foreign compact made it back to Anchorage at 40mph and declared a "Total", slowed me down night-driving for several weeks and my last time driving in Alaska on business trips for at leasr 6 months 😫. I escaped physical injury but "shook" all the way back to Anchorage 😨!.....☘

She was kinda used to the occasional broken bone/s or stitches after 20 yrs with me but first time I cracked my noggin and left a couple finger tips at the scene, she was a little mad about the truck but not as mad as myself when I found out she had dropped the $300k full coverage to liability only, cause I bought the truck cash, only to save a whopping $9 a month. We had three homes and multiple vehicles at the time. Just the ambulance and helicopter was $70k nevertheless a little surgery……

Nothing like that in my car/truck/van, but I did once have a blackbird bounce off the upper part of my helmet while riding my goldwing motorcycle

My Brother was on his Honda years ago, speeding down the road in a hurry. WHAP! He hit a dragonfly, right on the septum of his nose. The dragonfly disintegrated and went up both nostrils. He pulled over and the wingtips were just barely sticking out where he could pinch onto them. When he pulled them out, he felt them coming from way back inside his head. BARF, BARF, BARF! He spent the next 15 minutes blowing his nose and barfing. GROSS!

An owl, no damage, but it scared the crap out of me. It was at night and I didn't see it coming. Just a bang and it was there.

I’ve had that experience twice now. Sue had a Turkey take out her window. All within 5 miles of my house. We have lots of Turkeys. Some don’t have feathers 😁
