Here in Oklahoma and Texas where I do most of my fishing you’ll hear them calls sand bass, white bass, Sandy’s, or just a nuisance LOL.

I've been fishing Ft Gibson lake for crappie. We're having hit & miss luck. Going down to Eufaula & fish area 51 Wednesday. Ft Gibson lake has a lot of those huge white bass. They make great fish tacos. Tight lines

I’ve only fished Lake Eufala once. It was a long time ago. And I’m ready to hit Tenkiller, get some of those monster crappie there!

Tenkiller is my home lake, been pestering the fish there for over 30 years. When it warms up a bit & crappie move in close to the banks put in at Carters Landing. Go to the stickups & slough area right across the river. Lot of crappie there. When Jimmy Houson's dad was alive he was a guide & that's where he took his crappie clients. That's the upper north end of the lake. Good luck.
