My son-in-law and grandson in law went out yesterday on Fort Gibson lake. The wind was horrible, but we got up into some of the creeks. The sand bass and crappie are in pre-spawn, and I kind of got my behind kicked lol. My son-in-law caught the biggest sand bass Iโ€™ve ever seen off that lake. But it was great to be out!

Glad your SIL and GS caught some fish Bert, and sorry you got the stripey critter. You did a fine job as the camera man though! Thanks for the pictures.

Nice fish! I however have no clue what a sand bass is. Looks like what we call a white perch up this way though Iโ€™ve never caught one.

He really likes it. He was using a combination of a bait caster spinning reel and that close face Zebco. I think heโ€™s leaning towards the Zebco.
