I'm "with you" on this issue... Hell, if somebody's ashamed of who they're voting for; maybe it's time to reconsider WHO they are voting for!!!

now come on secret ballot is not about being ashamed of who you are voting for but to help prevent voter intimidation. After all if everyone knows you voted for Spirit there will be some who will say "how can you vote for a tin horn dictator he himself has said he won't serve meaning he will not be a public servant but a dictator" or "how can you vote for someone who hates our children, he has said he wants everyone off his lawn which means he is planning on cancelling the traditional white house lawn Easter egg roll" and be for you know it you are Doxed and all sorts of angry Able Man supporters are marching in front of your house and calling your wife and threatening her and then you are deplatformed and fired from your job. So I for one support secret ballots as long as everyone shows picture I.D. before voting in the privacy of the voteing booth

Yeah, I can see your point... I can remember, from the not too distant past, I think it was in one of the "Arab States"; where, on voting day; AFTER having voted, the citizens were required to "dip their thumb" down into some sort of dye, that would indicate that they'd already voted; keeping them from "running all over town" and voting multiple times. ... I GUESS; seeing as how NONE OF US, voting in this election, will be actually "showing up" somewhere PHYSICALLY to vote... That's no more than "Trivia"... Although, it DID maintain the "anonymity" of WHO was actually voted for. Just the fact, that a vote had been cast.
I'm guessing that NOBODY is going to be worrying about "Our Election"(on The Fishing Stage Forum), in about 500 years... Neither can I bring myself to worry about anybody showing up in the Dirty City, to bother ME, personally. Also, I will do my best, NOT to bother anyone else about who THEY voted for... In fact; I'm pretty sure, that I'll "unwatch this 'thread'"; in the not too distant future.
