Winterizing your boat?

When they fog the motor they spray an oil based spray in the carburetor on older motors or they remove the spark plugs and spray it in the opening it is called Fogg we get it by an auto parts store

Here in Tulare County, no need to winterize my boats just flush ,clean and keep them both dry , we haven't had any days of freezing here , 68° today,,

NC was pretty much the same way until out of the norm storms like the one today came along. Probably like you just did regular maintenance .

Yes Plum the Boat I putt around the lakes in, stays in the garage all year, the big boat is in storage large carport type facility and I pu t a boa cover on it, The 1 thing I do to the Striper is unscrew the motor plug for antifreeze ,, and then keep it right where I keep the keys for it, couple years ago saw a sad thing happen at boat launch in Winchester Bay Oregon , another boater forgot to put his motor plug back on so when he started his motor up the water pump began flooding his transom , we helped put it back on his trailer to drain it , but man it was a bear to trailer it ,it was a 22' ,,
