I would wish you good luck, but with a 70 degree day, you are having good luck. Catch lots of fish.

Brad and I are headed out to the Napa in the morning. Hope all this nice weather will improve the bite. Haven't been out there in a month. No bites the last time we were there.
Suppose to be near 70* today and tomorrow. At least it'll be a purdy day.
I'll take some pics if we catch any.

Well guys. No fish today. Was VERY windy this AM. But decided to go fishin anyway.
Got out to the river bout 0800 and there was very little parkin from all the duck hunters but we found a spot and went out anyway. On the way out there the wind was gustin to bout 40mph. But wasn't TOO bad when we got on the river.
Started off trollin and trolled for bout a mile, nothing, and decided to just go for it and jet on out to the fishin grounds.
We cast lures, nothing. Trolled some more, nothing. Anchored up and bait fished for awhile durin slack tide, nothing. Started castin lures again and Brad finally hooks a fish and loses it bout half way to the boat.
That's the ONLY bite that we got. Decided to call it a day bout 11am.
Was a little chilly early but when we got back to the dock to head home bout 1130 it was 70*.
SORRY, no pics of anything today.
Didn't see anything I really wanted to take a pic of. Other than the sunrise on the way out there but I can't take too good of pic with my PH when we're in the truck. Sure was pretty though.
Not sure when we'll get back out there to try for stripers again. Probly sometime later in Feb.

Oh well Steve, you gave it the old college try, and got a boat ride anyway. It's better than freezing your cajones off, like we are.

Was an absolutely gorgeous day here.

Actually there was some shootin goin on around us but I think that all the birds are divers. At least that's what Brad says, he's the duck hunter. (use to be)
Somewhere REALLY close to us somebody was shootin a 10 GAGE !
That thing really sounded like a cannon goin off.

Never shot one!
You can't use them on the any of the Refuge's.
Had a good shoot today.
I think the waters might be still alittle for the large mouth bass.
I'll be getting the boat ready after next week.
Haven't even got my fishing license yet.
Have a great evening and Sunday with the family.
Differently would like to take you Duck hunting next year if you would like.

Lol, yeah, maybe you're right. Haven't been too successful striper fishin.
Well at least you got to get out in some nice weather. I have a friend who has been doing quite well duck and goose hunting. I had a 10ga savage single shot it had a 36” barrel I used it to turkey hunt with. It had some recoil but it was bearable, my buddy has a single shot savage in a 3 1/2” 12ga that the recoil Was way worse than the 10ga. It hurt to shoot it.
