Well, they're at it again ! Mt. Washington is currently just

(I am SO glad I moved to Arizona !)
Alot of the "fierceness" of the weather at Mt. Washington, has to do with the fact, that: the weather-station up there, is very nearly ¡¡6,288 FEET above sea-level!! I spent 4× winters, roughly 110 miles to the southwest by south of Mt. Washington; and we generally had (compared to Cleveland) relatively "mild winters" (of course, where I was at, was only = 292 feet above sea-level, and only about an hour's drive, from the "moderating effect" of the Atlantic Ocean.) We experienced ALOT OF freezing rain, where I'd lived at, in Groton, MA.
