Catfish well be there real thick in 4 to 8 foot of water. A catfish rig being a tube and small treble hook with a sponge on it . Check Wal Mart stores near where you are staying. Use Sonny's blood stink bait. Ask around. they will tell you where to get it. Mash the tube in the bait and get a glob on it. Good luck and have fun.

The Russellville flats is the place to fish for bass. The spawning will be over or almost over by then. We waded and fished with sworn pumpkin or motor oil colors

Covid has reined my trip to Lake Moultrie for the last two years but unless the bug kills me this is the year. Lodging booked. Boat serviced and ready. April 2-9, staying at ST Air Force. Fishing all the places you guys said last year. Warnings understood.

Fuzzy not sure what kind of fishing you planning to do. I have stayed at Short Stay quit a few times. You can actually catch cat fish right off the bank facing the power house. There are some state record Catfish in front of the dam in 60' of water.
