Eastern I pray that the time you do get out is enjoyed as much as possible. For me in the heat 4 - 5 hours and that's starting pre dawn. In the cold maybe 3 - 4 hours after the sun is up. True the correct clothing is a must but no cure for the body when it says that's enough. To many years working outside, lets the system know what one can do and what one better not do.

For all you young folks out there pace your self and remember the Old Bull theory.

Standing upon a rise above the meadow.

Young bull looks over to the old bull and says, lets run down there and get us a heifer.

Old Bull says, lets walk down and get all the heifers.

PB

The last 2 years have been limited for a few reasons, this year is not quiet over if the weather holds out.

Maybe it will be the best.

Thank you.

I never eat while fishing. Have a good breakfast and take water along. If I eat, I get sea sick.

What ever sounds good on the way out. Store bought sandwiches, lunchables, frappacinos, couple of pops, lots of bottled water. I snack all day and stop to eat lunch. If I'm wading, lunchables are pretty water tight.

Cheese crackers and a poweraid. Grape flavor. When I'm on the river I bring aluminum foil, butter and seasoning salt. 😁

Vieenie sausage. Take nothing to drink as you can drink the juice in the can. I'm partial to the hot n spicy flavor.

Have you tried "Postum" don't know if I spelled it right.
I don't even know if they still sell it. It tastes pretty good.
