Some great pics fishyaker. The bass and crappie are nice catches.
Thanks ghaynes! Very respectable pair of bass you have shown as well...along with the big one from Bear! As many of us have said over the past many months...photos always make a post that much more exciting to read!

Outside of a bunch of bluegills on the fly rod, and some Northern Pike on XRaps, I personally didn’t have a great year. Too many projects and health issues, I guess?
My Wife did catch her first LM, future DIL caught her first fish, buddy Jim caught his first fish ever, on his new boat on Lake Erie and his future SIL caught his first fish ever.
I need to fish more, apparently 😂
I remember that "hawg" largemouth OJ...a real lunker! I'm already having a blast seeing some familiar snapshots...and some that I obviously missed the first time around!

Love the pics, especially the old Mitchell 308 with the trout!
Thanks! I use a lot of old vintage tackle (rods, reels and lures) that were popular from my childhood. Some are from my own youthful purchases and others came from modern flea markets, estate sales, etc. You never know when a sweet deal is staring at you! The bails and springs on those 308's can be temperamental, but for the most part they are a real treat to fish with.

This year wasn't much of big fish year. It started off well, but from the mid summer thru the fall was tough.
I know one thing for sure...your posts are always exciting, and in my opinion, there were some very nice days on the water in the catching mode too!

As we are getting close to saying "goodbye" to the 2021 fishing season, I was reflecting on the various opportunities we all may have had throughout the past season to enjoy the great outdoors. This is an invitation for folks to upload some special photos they took which could be especially enjoyed by "new members" on the Forum/Stage, as well as to rekindle memories of your own...even though you have probably seen these photos before.
The subjects could vary in a wide range...fish, scenery, etc.
Have fun sorting thru your 2021 archives!

Good way to review our blessings for the year. Always good fishing at Langara Fishing Lodge (North end of B.C.).
