As we are getting close to saying "goodbye" to the 2021 fishing season, I was reflecting on the various opportunities we all may have had throughout the past season to enjoy the great outdoors. This is an invitation for folks to upload some special photos they took which could be especially enjoyed by "new members" on the Forum/Stage, as well as to rekindle memories of your own...even though you have probably seen these photos before.
The subjects could vary in a wide range...fish, scenery, etc.
Have fun sorting thru your 2021 archives!
Most likely.... an "unhappy" crappie!
Small stream trout on ultra-lite tackle and tiny "00" Mepps spinners.
Smallmouth bass enjoying the "sunny side up" portion of a blue sky day.
Lake Superior coho salmon caught while surf casting from the beach near a spawning river entrance.
A rack idea Fred shared with me. My BIL built this one for me.
A smallmouth and a largemouth on one of my better days.

Some great pics fishyaker. The bass and crappie are nice catches.
Outside of a bunch of bluegills on the fly rod, and some Northern Pike on XRaps, I personally didn’t have a great year. Too many projects and health issues, I guess?
My Wife did catch her first LM, future DIL caught her first fish, buddy Jim caught his first fish ever, on his new boat on Lake Erie and his future SIL caught his first fish ever.
I need to fish more, apparently 😂
Wife Ellen’s first ever LM 6.25#
Future DIL Morgan’s first fish
Buddy Jim’s first fish (Freshwater Drum/Sheepshead)
Keith’s first fish

Nice OJ. Wife with that largemouth is a killer fish. Does she remind you of that day now and then?
Love the pics, especially the old Mitchell 308 with the trout!
This year wasn't much of big fish year. It started off well, but from the mid summer thru the fall was tough.
Chunky Smallmouth from early June
Probably the best Largemouth
A VERY VERY rare wind less morning.
A decent sized Yellow Perch from the fall.

She just shrugged it off and said “Now I have to catch a walleye!”
She has no clue how big that bass was for WI. Certainly bigger than I have ever caught, but then again, her first fish ever was a 19.75” smallie.
Can’t wait to see her first walleye 🤦🏼♂️

Nice pics, Greg.
I didn’t spend near as much time on the water this year as I would’ve liked, but here are some fun times and great memories made in 2021.
A week spent at the
Strip Pits
Courtesy of fishing with SAW1, the two largest Striped Bass that we caught in 2021!!!
