Our good friend Spirit(Paul) let me know that he's gonna take time off from the Stage for a little while, due to a problem with his eye. He has an appt. today with retinologist having trouble with vision, so it's difficult for him to read right now, I'll post some updates when he let's me know ,so let's Wish Spirit a speedy recovery,πŸ™‡β€β™‚οΈπŸ™‡β€β™€οΈπŸ‘βœŒ

Best wishes for Paul and Kathe. I'm sure she needs it, I can't see Spirit being an easy patient. 😁

Thanks for all the kind thoughts and yes, thanks for the prayers too. Just cause I don't do it don't mean I can't appreciate those who do. I'm still gonna be around, just not much cause it's a real pain in the butt to try to read.
Eye doc told me this morning he thinks this will clear up on its own, but if not he can always change the oil in that eye. It doesn't hurt, so there's that. He also gave me an injection in that eye. Not nearly as bad as it sounds. That was to hopefully help it along with the healing. So, carry on lads and lassies, I'll be in the area.
By the way, the trout skunk abides. Long story. We had a really good time and I got to learn the lay of the land up there, saw some really great places that I plan on returning to, but no fish this time. Suffice it to say that the place where I spent most of my time fishing, behind the post office in Cassell, was in the process of some kind of a hatch and there were trout everywhere, gorging themelves on bugs, and they were not interested in anything that I was throwing out to them. It was quite a scene. Had I brought my fly rod and a "hat creek" bug pattern?

Spirit, i just found out about this I've been a little preoccupied. Sorry to hear about your eye problem right up there with teeth in the pain category.

You will make the east coast prayer list tonight and best wishes that your lawn doesn't wash away with all that rain you are getting.

I had the left one done a few years ago. your eye is filled with vitreous fluid - they just empty it out and fill your eye back up with ? not sure, but probably saline, I'm guessing. Just like an oil change. Every million miles or so. A filter would be a real nice addition. I've got pretty good insurance, but I'm not sure it would cover that upgrade.
The way I look at things (get it? look at things) if you can't laugh about it, it's probably time to cash out. Ya know?

This is the water behind the post office.

Wish I had that behind my Post Office! I'd probably have to close the counter if the bite was on........... Probably not a good thing! πŸ˜•

Thanks Jarhead. I wasn’t aware he was having trouble. I sure hope he recovers quickly.

Sorry Spirit. Just got home from a road trip. I hope all works out well for ya. I’m usually behind the eight ball with my replies. I’m glad we have a fellow stager that keeps us up to date on stuff.
