Exactly. Bunch of idiots get busted every year at the State Fair when they pull in and their fuel tanks get inspected because they are on State Property. I think it’s funnier than… beep.

I run a 200HP Evinrude 2 stroke. Ethanol free gas is getting harder and harder to find. I use gas with ethanol but also use additive. Have been using Star-Tron now for lots of years and no issue with ethanol gas. Use what ever you like, but you must use an additive with ethanol gas or it will cost you big.

Sorry to hear about your issue. I got two 2020 Mercury. A 70 and 6 horse. Only need regular. They run fine. Surprised to see you need special fuel these days. Good luck my friend
