Thinking about buying a waterfront condo with a boat slip near the inter coastal south of Houma.
How close am I to specks, reds sheepshead, etc?
Hopefully I don’t need to trailer to Dulac.
Thanks

You need to PM FourchonLa. He has a fish camp near there.👍
When the fishing is right, the spec's and red's come in the marsh. Depending on how far you plan on running your boat, shouldn't be far. I fish the Vermillion and Weeks bay south of Abbeville, La. The reds are now getting caught, right out of the bayou, going into the bay. The south wind pushes the salt water up into the marsh. Seems to me they should be in the channel. Good luck.
Yes, Milkman, your best advice is to PM FourchonLA. He lives down there and would be the most likely to know. Just Sayin....RJS

Welcome to the stage milkman. I'm not much help for you but others have given you good advice already. I believe you'll like it here. Good luck on the fishing share pictures when you can.

¡Welcome to the Fishing Stage, Milkman! I've got no useful information for you, other than to agree with the others about "Private Message" to FourchonLa... Maybe go to the "User List" and see who else is near where you're wanting to catch fish. Good luck with it all!
