What's your favorite topwater? I'm not talking in terms of number of fish caught, but just what topwater do you enjoy using the most. For me it's a buzzbait.

I found it hard to find just one answer but I would have to say a wake bait there's something about the fish attacking your lure when your slowly reeling it across the surface but they are all the best way to get hooked on fishing😀🎣

Of late, a whopper plopper (R2S), but on pads or mats, hollow body frog. Love that topwater blowup!

I've read about those things and everything has been good. I gotta try 'em.
Bull Frog color Rattlin Chug Bug. Smallmouth hit it like it owes them money.
1 ) Home made whopper plopper type bait. 2 ) hollow frog with the small Velcro patch on top 3 ) megabass I-Loud wake bait...All 3 are really cool to fish with..My 2cents.

Chuck - what's the purpose of the velcro patch on the frog? Did it cone like that or did you attach it?
Plummer’s Super Frog always gets some awesome blowups when fished over lily pads.

Yeah, I think we're all curious about that piece of velcro. It may be the secret we've all been looking for. Please let us know.

Ok, this might be a clue (from Tacklewarehouse):
"Stanford Baits teamed up with Elite Series pro, Fred Roumbanis, to develop the one-of-a-kind, Stanford Baits Boom Boom Frog. The only frog on the market that features Frogfur. This patent-pending innovation, located on the top of the Boom Boom Frog, greatly increases your hook up ratio. Frogfur snags a bass’ sandpaper-like lip, making it harder for them to throw the frog, resulting in more landed fish."

Ouch! That I-Loud wakebait is north of $35! But then again it's a MB.
Slap myself on the forehead! I shoulda thought that bass teeth slop backards and will snag Velcro. Wonder if I can add it to other lures? No wonder I never made the big bucks and folks always called me "half fast".
