My own thinking is that it would be just about as risky to stay home as to go fishing provided that you're careful and avoid being around other people - - !

Last September me and the kids rented a cabin and went on the fishing trip because it wasn't safe to go anywhere else. Wore masks at the grocery store and bait shop. Rest of the time we were by ourselves. Never got close to the others staying there as everyone minded there own business.

The majority opinion seems to be that we should make plans, use precautions and go.

Here is my 2 cents Gh, mask up and distancing. Tomorrow as mentioned is not a promise. Don't let an unknown control your life.

Absolutely Greg, who knows what the future holds, for any of us. You can stay farther from other people there, than you can in every day life. Go catch some slabs, and have a ball.

Here is a rare moment of me being serious. I've always believed people that make "fear based" decisions never experience the thrill of being alive. Sh@% happens, always has, always will, that's why a smart man always carries a roll of toilet paper...well, I guess I didn't make it all the way through the post being serious. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Steve, you get the "booby" prize for the best answer. I think the resort provides TP in the cabins so we will probably be okay on that front. No "fear based" decisions here. Just wondering how cautious we should be. Bear has some serious health issues which probably prompted the question.

I agree!! Carry hand sanitizer like it’s your truck key and do everything possible to prevent any unnecessary stops. It’s better to go out trying to have the time of your life than never getting the chance!! Regardless of whether you guys choose to go or wait it out I hope it’s more than he had even imagined🇺🇸

I think it’s great what your doing for your friend ghaynes! Not sure about your neck of the woods but I would assume the time has to be near spawn and should be an awesome time to be on the water.. Get these boosters and keep bear safe in the meantime🇺🇸

Crappie and bluegill get active here in October when the water cools down. That will keep us busy. Will save the road trip for the spring.
