I like it. If you ever get near Omaha, I would fish from it.

WOW!!!!! You sure like to take chances don't you? There is a reason for safety requirements on boats, they are there to protect you. What if when your boat came off the hitch it went into traffic and hurt/killed someone? Were your safety chains on the trailer or did you forget them too? That pontoon boat must be a real piece of work!

Ohio it needs registered. Kayaks even have a registration. Now that's Ohio. How other states have it may vary.

Connecticut doesn't require registration on any boat under 12', unless its powered. Doesn't matter gas or electric, unless it's human powered it needs registration numbers on it.

Yep, here in Utah it’s the same thing. I have three inflatable one-man pontoons. They come with a transom for a trolling motor. I registered the one that’s mine, that I use, so I could use a trolling motor on it it costs the same as my fifteen foot aluminum boat with an outboard on it

That pontoon boat looks awesome, nice job. Sorry to hear the maiden voyage had some bumps. You’ll get that all straightened out and have some fun on your party boat!

Don't think it is rude or disrespectful when safety is involved.

Nor do I, jafguy.

Better STRAPPAGE, dbed ! You were "lucky" it turned out as it did, could have been disastrous....and not necessarily for just YOU OR YOUR BOAT.

In Oregon, such homemade craft must be inspected by the Marine Board, certified "seaworthy" and assigned a "hull #", THEN it can be registered.

Well, who are we to judge. I don’t think any of us know all the circumstances surrounding the situation. I think your concern for safety certainly could have been worded differently. Maybe a little more compassionately. After all, like all the rest of us you’ve probably made at least one mistake in your life. But then again, I could be wrong…🐟on

Nice job dbed and don't sweat the negative comments. Especially the 2nd guy, everytime a little negativity comes up he's on it like a bee is drawn to honey.

You should avoid Cheerios in the future. It appears that the bowl had urine residue in it.
